If you are playing as the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles or the Danger Mouse, you have to defeat the bad guys to save the day. If you are playing as SpongeBob or one of the other main characters, you get to go toe-to-toe with SpongeBob and try to knock him out of the battle. In Super Brawl Universe, you can select from SpongeBob, Squidward, Patrick, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles or the Danger Mouse to battle any character in the kid and teenager channels in different settings which will almost seem familiar if you watch any of those shows, because it's been almost exactly like that.Īs far as the story goes, you pick a character (most are male, although there are a few female ones) and you take on a level and fight to win. Even the Android version of the game has characters that you can select and play along with in-game, which is a nice feature. Nickelodeon characters are on screen for every battle, which makes everything look and feel really lifelike. The main difference is that Super Brawl Universe is a 3D game app, which is a really big difference when you're dealing with something as complex as a fighting game. Super Brawl Universe looks and feels just like the old series that we loved, but it's also been completely overhauled for a new, "cutting-edge" experience. This new cartoon is similar to some of my favorites from Nickelodeon, but it's different in many ways. Nickelodeon has brought us a number of great cartoon shows like SpongeBob Squarepants, American Idol and now they have brought us Super Brawl Universe.
